A NEW requirement for an ESTIMATOR to work for a mechanical company based in Lancashire.

Previous experience essential. Permanent position.

Requirements:

A good knowledge of ventilation, heating/chilled water, BMS and public health services.
Understand specifications and employers’ requirements.
Assemble enquiries for specialist sub-contractors/suppliers.
Identify risks.
Consider value engineering.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Good communication skills.
Develop relationships with customers and supply chain.
Consider innovation and new products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Preparing comprehensive mechanical tenders.
Meet tender deadlines.
Collaborating with other team members.
Interact with in house design team.
Conclude Tenders with the pre-construction director.
Relevant industry experience as an Estimator.
Experience in Mechanical estimating.
Commercial awareness.
Experience within an M&E Subcontractor or Main Contractor.
Extensive Trades knowledge.
Time, resource & financial managerial experience.
Able to plan and organise effectively.
